Racing on the Riverside at Eddie's in Rancho Cucamoga is something that we always look forward to.  Ed has an amazing facility and always presents a great race program on one of HO Slot Racing's finest tracks.  But this time he took it another step further and he had the race catered!  Talk about spoiling some Slot-Heads....next time they'll be looking around for the dancing pole!

Anyway, the weather was great and turnout was was large which made for a lot of great racing and several new track records, including the fastest NEO podium in the history of the Riverside Bucktrax.

The days first race was Rookie (Amatuer) Hardbody.  Which saw Sean "The Mysterious" Wright drive his dominant Tomy Super G+ to victory over Darren Angelo's Tomy SRT, and new racer Mark Natividad running a very impressive Lifelike car to take the third spot.

Pro-Hardbody
Next up was Pro-Hardbody and Dan "The Ace" Cronin drove his nicely prepped Tomy Super G+ Indy car to a dominant win over the field.  The Super G+ cars of Mark "What Lane" McVittie and "Neo-Mike" Stewart follow Dan to the podium.

In the third race of the day Darren Angelo took his second ever SCHOR race win when he edge out Sean "The Mysterious" Wright by just 1 lap in the Amature Super Stock event.

Pro Super Stock
Pro Super Stock was next.  This race saw no fewer than 4 Super Stock cars go down in flames, and when all of the smoke cleared, there at the front of the pack was Glenn "Mr Speed" Gordon.  Following him , was Jim "Mr Concours" Williams,  and Mark MacVittie who set a new track record for fast lap took third.
These three fast first place cars were all MRT prepared BSRT G3R Super Stocks.

Pro Modified
Dan "The Ace" Cronin was unchallenged in his dominant win in Pro Modified.  Eddie Torres and Glenn Gordon complete the podium.  This very fast race had 15 entrants and featured 2 new Riverside Bucktrax Modified records!  Dan set the record for most laps in a Modified race at 468, and Ben "The Viper" Vasquez set the new record for the fastest race lap at 1.916.

NEO Podium
This Smokin' NEO race featured two Slottech Neos against a very fast BSRT G3R Neo car.  For the first five heats the race remain very very close (within 3 laps).  In the last (sixth) heat Ben "The Viper" found more speed,  while "Too Fass" Morgan came off twice, and Eddie "The Snake" close the gap.  When all the dust settled the score was Ben 605, Eddie 596, and Morgan 596.  The combined total of 1797 laps for these three racers was the fastest podium ever run on the Bucktrax Riverside.  Morgan set the record on the for the fastest race lap ever at 1.509 seconds with his G3R.

All and all another fun, fast, and furious day of racing at Eddie's.
